About Us

We are Writing Enchantments. Specifically, we are Nathaniel Holloway, his wife Emaleeann, and his brother Caleb. The three of us are all fans of the art of storytelling, and that is what we explore here with every post.

Nathaniel Holloway is the main contributor of Writing Enchantments, so you can expect short stories and poems from him every month, along with many opinion pieces consisting of recommendations and lists of all kinds. He is an aspiring fantasy author, with two novels currently in the works; a fan of films, television, comics, books, and video games; and a full time high school English teacher, full time father, and now full time blogger.

Emaleeann Holloway is a creative cook, mother, and all time nerd. Her main series of posts will consist of the food-movie pairings perfect for any date night, get together with friends, or family movie time. She also happens to be the luckiest player in any card game, a dominator in any board game (especially Settlers of Catan and Red Dragon Inn), a skilled travel agent, and she is also the designer of this very blog.

Caleb Holloway is little big brother of Nathaniel, an aspiring author in his own right who specializes in dialogue and character. He has worked on multiple short films, a full length feature, and is transitioning from writing screenplays to writing novels for the greater freedom it provides. He is an all around creative powerhouse and fun fact- he does have his own IMDB page, which needs a little updating.
